Completion of a City employment application is required. A separate application is required for each position. A résumé may be included with the employment application but cannot be used in place of a City employment application.

High school diploma or GED required. Must have three (3) years of progressively responsible experience specifically in business administration, clerical accounting or bookkeeping.  Must have customer service experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.  Adobe Acrobat experience required.  Ability to type 45 correct words per minute. Typing test from CareerSource Brevard taken within the past year must be submitted with employment application to be considered. Must possess and maintain a State of Florida driver’s license.  Applicants may possess a valid out of state driver’s license and obtain a Florida driver’s license within 10 days of employment.  Must successfully complete a criminal records check, driving record check, and a level II background investigation.  Must not have been convicted of a felony crime or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement in any jurisdiction.
