Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Provided on this page are links to materials that reflect the nature and scope of permits that have been issued for upcoming events.

Maps are provided to indicate the areas to be affected by the event activities. Complete permit records are maintained by the City Clerk's Office.

Vettes on the Avenue

Date:  October 19, 2024

Hours:  The event begins at 5:30 a.m. and concludes by 4:30 p.m.

Road Closures:  The roads will be closed from 4:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Road closures include New Haven Avenue, between Campbell Park and McQuaid Street; Grant Place from the alleyway to New Haven Avenue; Waverly Place, between the alleyway north to the entrance of Hotel Melby; Vernon Place from the alleyway north; and Municipal Lane.

Location:  The event will be held in Downtown Melbourne.
