The City of Melbourne Parks and Recreation Department manages numerous parks and recreational facilities, including:

• 2 rental pavilions;
• fishing piers;
• boat ramps;
• cemeteries;
• tennis courts;
• swimming pools;
• the Melbourne Auditorium;
• Front Street Civic Center;
• Eau Gallie Civic Center;
• Wickham Park Community Center;
• Joseph N. Davis Community Center;
• Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center (formerly Lipscomb Community Center); and
• a variety of recreational programs, activities, and special events for all ages.
