The City of Melbourne’s Environmental Community Outreach (ECO) Division has a multi-faceted, award-winning program for environmental stewardship that reaches all ages. These efforts have made significant impacts by decreasing water usage, improving surface water quality, increasing recycling rates, and reducing litter. The ECO division also works directly with the waste collection agency to solve problems for customers, take service requests, and answer questions regarding recycling and trash pickup.
