Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Provided on this page are links to materials that reflect the nature and scope of permits that have been issued for upcoming events.

Maps are provided to indicate the areas to be affected by the event activities. Complete permit records are maintained by the City Clerk's Office.

Ghostly Gecko 5K

Hours:  3:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.   Roads will be closed from 6:00 p.m. and open by 7:30 p.m.

Location:   The run will begin and end on Highland Avenue, travel east on Aurora Road, north on Pineapple Avenue to just south of Carissa Place,  return south on Pineapple Avenue, west on Varnum Street, south on Highland Avenue, west on Mathers Street, south on Guava Avenue, east on Aurora Road and return to the starting point on Highland Avenue.
