Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Provided on this page are links to materials that reflect the nature and scope of permits that have been issued for upcoming events.

Maps are provided to indicate the areas to be affected by the event activities. Complete permit records are maintained by the City Clerk's Office.

Local 1951 5K

Date:  September 7, 2024

Hours:  The 5K will begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude by 9:30 a.m.   Pre- and post-event activities will take place at Eau Gallie Square from 6:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Road Closures:  Road and lane closures will occur from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.  Road closures will include Highland Avenue, between Eau Gallie Boulevard and St. Clair Street, Bud Yeager Drive, and the outermost westbound lane of the Eau Gallie Causeway.

Location:   The run begins on Highland Avenue at the Eau Gallie Square, travels east over the Eau Gallie Causeway, and returns to Eau Gallie Square.
