Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Provided on this page are links to materials that reflect the nature and scope of permits that have been issued for upcoming events.

Maps are provided to indicate the areas to be affected by the event activities. Complete permit records are maintained by the City Clerk's Office.

Multi-Cultural Unity in the Community Music Festival

Date:  October 5, 2024

Hours:  The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and concludes by 6:00 p.m.

Road Closures:  The roads will be closed from 4:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Location:  The event will be held in Downtown Melbourne.  Road closures include New Haven Avenue from Campbell Park to Waverly Place, Municipal Lane and Vernon Place to the alleyway.

Parking:  There will be no fees to park in the city-owned parking lots.
