The Adopt-a-Park Program provides opportunities for the community to help improve and maintain the City of Melbourne's 42 parks. The program allows area businesses, neighborhood groups, organizations, and concerned residents to make a difference in parks and open spaces. 

The program combines in-kind service with financial contribution that helps offset the costs of maintaining and improving the adopted spaces.

Your efforts in our parks increases public awareness of the importance of protecting our natural resources, generates pride in our park system, and demonstrates a commitment to your community.

How to participate:

• Choose a park/open space to adopt.
• Adopter agrees to adopt the space for 1 year.
• Adopter agrees to do one service project/clean up during adoption period.

Adopter receives:

• Organization name on sign installed at the park location.
• Recognition on website and social media.
• The pride of helping beautify the Melbourne park system.
