10.1 Compensation Plan

The compensation plan is comprised of all classification plans and salary schedules adopted by the City Council. 

The compensation plan is intended to provide fair compensation for all positions in the classification plans in relation to the pay for other internal positions, the pay for similar jobs in other municipalities or civil jurisdictions, the financial condition of the City, and other relevant factors. The Director of Human Resources is responsible to make comparative salary studies and will recommend supported adjustments to the City Manager. Adjustments will be made by increasing or decreasing the salary ranges and steps.
