10.19 Career Progression Programs

Career Progression Programs, which provide for automatic advancement upon achieving required qualifications, must be reviewed by Human Resources and approved by the City Manager or Executive Director of Aviation.

Employees occupying a position that is included in an approved Career Progression Program shall advance when the qualifications to move to the next position in the program guidelines have been met. The employee’s pay will be adjusted consistent with the standard promotional rate outlined in the Pay for Promotions policy.
