4.5 Employee Assistance Program

The City provides access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for all regular full-time and part-time employees. This benefit is paid by the City; there is no charge to an employee. The EAP offers counseling and assistance for a wide range of life challenges such as substance abuse, depression, marital or family relations, and many other matters that may affect an employee’s job performance. Employees are encouraged to use this program. The information discussed with a counselor is confidential. Details about this benefit are included on the City’s employee-only website under Human Resources Information and Forms for Employees. Questions may be directed to the Human Resources Department.
